Presentation waltzed into their game on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured an 18-14 W against the Branham Bruins. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Panthers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Bruins are ranked 268th).

The critical scores for Presentation came from Jacinda Bateman, Meredith Matsumoto, and Ella Claveran.

Presentation didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Alexa Vincent led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Claveran got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Presentation's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Branham, with the defeat, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-7-1.

Presentation didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 26-6 victory against King's Academy on the 20th. As for Branham, they have also already played their next matchup, a 33-6 loss against Milpitas on the 20th.
