Soccer Game Preview: South Rowan vs. Concord

The South Rowan Raiders will square off against the Concord Spiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Friday just wasn't the day for South Rowan's offense. They fell 2-0 to Robinson on Friday.

Meanwhile, Concord also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 8-0 to Robinson on Thursday. Concord have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Rowan has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for Concord, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-18.

Everything went South Rowan's way against Concord when the teams last played back in March, as South Rowan made off with a 6-1 win. In that game, the Raiders amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
