Black River won the last time they faced Keystone, and Remington Dieter did her part to make sure it happened again. The Pirates put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday thanks in part to Dieter, who had 22 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 25-16.

Black River's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Keystone, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Black River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Plymouth on the 30th. As for Keystone, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Cloverleaf on the 30th.
