Softball Recap: Monticello Buckaroo vs. North Sevier Wolves        
        
		
            
 It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Monticello can now relate to. They lost  13-3 to the North Sevier Wolves on Saturday. The  loss leaves Monticello without a win on the season.
 Monticello saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Taylor Barry, who  went 2-for-3 with two  doubles and  an  RBI.  Tessa Slade was another key contributor,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with  an  RBI.
 Even though they lost, Monticello  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with seven  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Sevier only tossed three.
 On North Sevier's side,  Addie Quarnberg was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing eight bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zoey Rhees, who  scored a  run and  stole four bases while going 3-for-4.
 Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for North Sevier, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-15.
 Monticello does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Sevier, they are on the road again  on Saturday to play South Sevier at 12:30  p.m. Both teams will come into the  contest having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes.
