Baseball Recap: Palmer Drops Season-High Score on Rice

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palmer). They put the hurt on Rice with a sharp 15-0 victory on Friday. The win was familiar territory for Palmer, who have now won three contests in a row.

Palmer got a massive performance out of Eric Cisneros, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Palmer is 4-1-1 when Cisneros posts two or more stolen bases, but 3-14 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Eli Baxter, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Palmer kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Palmer's record is now 7-15-1. As for Rice, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.

As of now, neither Palmer nor Rice have any future games scheduled.
