South Bend Career Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Bowman Academy Eagles, falling 26-12. On the bright side, the 12- run performance marked the Trailblazers' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Keemon Chambliss made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in both of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

South Bend Career Academy's record now sits at 0-12. As for Bowman Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8.
