Baseball Game Preview: Paloma Valley Wildcats vs. Arlington Lions

Paloma Valley is 0-4 against Arlington since March of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Wildcats will welcome the Lions at 3:15 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Paloma Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Lakeside 16-4 on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Arlington waltzed into their game on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Bison. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Arlington pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Paloma Valley, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.
