Softball Recap: Hoopa Valley Sets Scoring Season-High Against Trinity

Hoopa Valley is still winless after their game against Trinity on Saturday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wolves. On the bright side, the two- run performance marked the Warriors' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Hoopa Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Trinity, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Hoopa Valley has already played their next game, a 6-1 defeat against CORE Butte on the 29th. As for Trinity, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-0 win against Plumas Charter on the 29th.
