Volleyball Recap: Paideia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Paideia can now relate to. They came up short against the Mount Paran Christian Eagles on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Pythons' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

While Paideia was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Mount Paran Christian's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14, 25-18.

Mount Paran Christian was led to victory by Avery Kohler and Emma Schwaig. Kohler had four aces, three digs, and one block, while Schwaig had eight digs. That's the most aces Kohler has posted over her last nine matchups.

Paideia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Mount Paran Christian, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 36-11.

Paideia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Paran Christian, they will welcome Walker at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
