Basketball Preview: Fort Mill Yellow Jackets vs. Gaffney Indians        
        
		
             The Fort Mill Yellow Jackets will take on the Gaffney Indians at 8:00  p.m.  on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fort Mill has three straight  wins, Gaffney has seven straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
 Last Tuesday, Fort Mill made easy work of Providence  and carried off  a  73-51 victory. The  game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  41-18.
  Logan Parker had a dynamite game for Fort Mill,  going 11 for 12 en route to 26 points plus three  steals and two  blocks. Parker's evening made it three games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points.  Jermier Nelson was another key player,  going 8 for 12 en route to 20 points plus five  steals.
 Fort Mill was working as a unit and  finished the game with 15  assists. That's the most  assists they've posted since back in January.
 Meanwhile, Gaffney didn't have quite enough to beat Clover on Tuesday and fell  66-63.
 Fort Mill pushed their record up to 3-0 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Gaffney, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Everything came up roses for Fort Mill against Gaffney in their previous matchup  back in February of 2022, as the  squad secured  a  62-32 victory. Will Fort Mill repeat their success,  or does  Gaffney have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
