Volleyball Recap: Shiocton Victorious

Shiocton's tournament run continued when they took on Wonewoc-Center on Tuesday. The Chiefs came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chiefs.

Natalie Young paced Shiocton's offense, picking up eight kills. Young were helped by Brooke Beschta and Aliyah Reese, who contributed seven assists each. Cordelia Monnot controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Shiocton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Wonewoc-Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Shiocton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sturgeon Bay on the 26th. Wonewoc-Center has also already played their next match (against Viroqua), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
