Basketball Recap: Thursday's Loss Ends Jefferson's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Jefferson unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 44-31 to the Federal Way Eagles. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 62-53.

Federal Way found their leader in freshman Jaieunna Kier, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kier has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Mariame Bongono, who posted two points along with 16 rebounds and six steals.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Federal Way, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-13.

As of now, neither Jefferson nor Federal Way have any future games scheduled.
