Basketball Game Preview: Oregon-Davis Bobcats vs. Rochester Zebras

Oregon-Davis is 0-4 against Rochester since January of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Oregon-Davis Bobcats will get right back to it and host the Rochester Zebras at 6:30 p.m.

Oregon-Davis is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They fell 43-36 to Trinity Greenlawn.

Meanwhile, Rochester hadn't done well against Peru recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Rochester walked away with a 64-52 win over Peru.

Rochester's win came from a few key players Oregon-Davis will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tanner Reinartz, who posted 14 points in addition to eight steals and seven rebounds. Those eight steals gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Drew Bowers, who on his way to 16 points and four steals.

Rochester is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. Oregon-Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-18.

Oregon-Davis was dealt a bruising 86-45 loss at the hands of Rochester in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bowers, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine assists. Now that Oregon-Davis knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
