The Seffner Christian Crusaders will face off against the Victory Christian Academy Storm at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Seffner Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They never let Zephyrhills Christian Academy get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Crusaders' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Ryder Stephens looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
On the hitting side, Seffner Christian got a massive performance out of Mason McBane, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and two runs. Those two runs gave McBane a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Juelz Sidoti, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, Victory Christian Academy made easy work of Oasis Christian on Monday and carried off a 17-2 victory. Considering the Storm have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Kason Dansforth looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.
At the plate, Collin Strickland and Braylon Mitchell did most of the damage at the plate: Strickland scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while Mitchell scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Strickland has become a key player for Victory Christian Academy: the team is 9-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 6-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Cru Slocum, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
The win made it two in a row for Victory Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 15-9. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Seffner Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.
Seffner Christian might still be hurting after the 12-6 defeat they got from Victory Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Crusaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
