Baseball Recap: Yorkville Christian Comes Up Short

Yorkville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Kaneland Knights, falling 16-6. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Danny Paige made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Yorkville Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Kaneland, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-9.

Yorkville Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kaneland, they will face off against Ottawa at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
