Basketball Recap: Black River Gets the Win

Black River's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 61-49 win over the Saugatuck Trailblazers. This was a revenge game for the Rats: when they faced off against the Trailblazers back in January, they had to take a 66-47 defeat.

Black River's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Saugatuck, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Coming up, Black River will venture away from home to face off against Lawton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saugatuck, they will face off against Muskegon Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
