Sunset kept a clean sheet against Jefferson on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Jefferson Patriots as they made off with an 8-0 win. Give the Bison's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

They hit Jefferson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gabriela Salas (4), Jaida Arizmendi (3), and Samantha Piedra Garcia.

Sunset pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those three games. As for Jefferson, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.

Sunset will head out on the road to face off against Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Sunset's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last five matchups. As for Jefferson, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Molina at 7:30 p.m. Molina will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Jefferson surely won't give up without a fight.
