Softball Recap: Glasgow Comes Up Short

Glasgow made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Allen County-Scottsville, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Scotties fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Scotties have suffered since March 26th.

Glasgow's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Allen County-Scottsville, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glasgow will head out to square off against Green County at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Allen County-Scottsville, they will venture away from home to challenge Russellville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
