Baseball Game Preview: Antelope Titans vs. Kennedy Cougars

The Antelope Titans will take on the Kennedy Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Antelope's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Kennedy has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Antelope's offense. They fell just short of Inderkum by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Titans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Antelope saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Hodson, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Kennedy took on Destiny Christian Academy on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Lions, falling 14-1.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Antelope, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Antelope has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Kennedy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Antelope took their victory against Kennedy in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 18-5 score. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
