Volleyball Recap: Keystone Heights' Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Keystone Heights waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Interlachen Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Keystone Heights never let Interlachen on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-10, 25-23.

Keystone Heights got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kadence Massey out in front who had ten kills, six aces, five digs, and one block. Massey has been hot, having posted seven or more kills the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaleigh Marquart, who had 24 assists and five aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Keystone Heights was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive contests.

Keystone Heights' victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Interlachen, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-13.

Keystone Heights has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Clay on the 8th. As for Interlachen, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Taylor on the 9th.
