Softball Recap: Rockledge Takes a Loss

Rockledge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 10-4 to the Space Coast Vipers.

Rockledge saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gizelle Arteaga, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that Arteaga has hit this season. Another was Maddey Ault, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Rockledge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Space Coast, the win got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Coming up, Rockledge will head out on the road to face off against Astronaut at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Space Coast, they will be playing at home against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
