Softball Recap: Queen Creek Takes a Loss

Queen Creek blew O'Connor out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday O'Connor got their revenge. The Queen Creek Bulldogs fell just short of the O'Connor Eagles by a score of 11-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since March 28, 2024.

Charli Dixon was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Tayla Falquez, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

Queen Creek now has a losing record of 1-2. As for O'Connor, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Queen Creek will take on Chaparral in a tournament on Saturday. As for O'Connor, they will face off against Perry at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
