Pavilion is 8-2 against Warsaw since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Pavilion Golden Gophers will be playing at home against the Warsaw Tigers at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Pavilion's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Warsaw has been banged up by 13 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Pavilion beat Geneseo 48-44.

Meanwhile, Warsaw lost 58-38 to Le Roy on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 691st, while the Oatkan Knights are ranked 309th).

Warsaw's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Pavilion, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Pavilion against Warsaw when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 49-14 win. Will Pavilion repeat their success, or does Warsaw have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
