Baseball Recap: Las Lomas Knights vs. Concord Bears
The home team had come away the winner the last five times Las Lomas and Concord had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Bears on Tuesday. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 win the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Alessandro Martinez-Cabrera spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for him.

Las Lomas will head out to face off against Vintage at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Concord will be paying especially close attention to the Knights' contest: after the Knights face off against the Crushers, they'll take on Concord again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
