Baseball Recap: West Columbus Comes Up Short

West Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Bladen Eagles. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

West Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for East Bladen, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

While West Columbus had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
