It was a good run, but Liberty HomeSchool Alliance unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak dating back to last season on Friday. The contest between them and the Altoona-Midway Jets didn't end well, with the Liberty HomeSchool Alliance Arrows falling 63-48. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Arrows came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Jets are ranked 312th).

William Stackhouse continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Altoona-Midway, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 14 rebounds. Stackhouse has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 32 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Joey Lamendola, who went 5 of 9 en route to 10 points.
