Basketball Recap: Boyd Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ponder, Boyd was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 51-41 victory over the Pilot Point Bearcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-56 back in December of 2024.

Myles Richardson was his usual excellent self, putting up 23 points. Lex Horton was another key player, earning eight points.

Boyd's win bumped their record up to 9-20. As for Pilot Point, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Whitesboro the next time they take the court. Pilot Point will host Whitesboro at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, while Boyd will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
