Baseball Game Preview: Graham-Kapowsin Eagles vs. Emerald Ridge Jaguars

Graham-Kapowsin is 2-8 against Emerald Ridge since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. Graham-Kapowsin will be playing at home against Emerald Ridge at 4:00 p.m. Graham-Kapowsin's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Emerald Ridge's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Saturday, Graham-Kapowsin didn't have quite enough to beat Yelm and fell 2-1. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Emerald Ridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Rogers on Thursday by a score of 6-5 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

This is the second loss in a row for Graham-Kapowsin and nudges their season record down to 4-3. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for Emerald Ridge, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
