Basketball Game Preview: Parkridge Christian Panthers vs. Non Varsity Opponent

The Parkridge Christian Panthers will face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Parkridge Christian has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 195 points over their last three games.

Last Monday, Parkridge Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-55 to David Posnack Jewish Day. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

Parkridge Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Josh Clark, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 boards, and Makel Moraes, who went 8-for-14 to rack up 17 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. Clark's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Burbridge, who posted seven points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Non Varsity Opponent took a blow against Marquette on Wednesday, falling 72-40.

Having lost for the first time this season, Parkridge Christian fell to 2-1. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-35 record this season.
