Baseball Recap: Thomas Walker Comes Up Short

Thomas Walker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 9-6 to the J.I. Burton Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-10 back in April.

Ellis Hoskins was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That home run was his first of the season. Luke Golden was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Thomas Walker's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for J.I. Burton, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
