Baseball Recap: Wayne Preparatory Academy Takes a Loss

Wayne Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 22-2 to the Village Christian Academy Knights.

Wayne Preparatory Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ADONIS CANADY, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Wayne Preparatory Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Village Christian Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Coming up, Wayne Preparatory Academy will head out to challenge Eastern Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Village Christian Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against East Bladen at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
