Volleyball Recap: Bullis Comes Up Short

Bullis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-8.

Olivia Mazur paced Bullis' offense, picking up six kills. Mazur got some help from Jazmin Washington and her 14 assists. Mia Fornasiero controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bullis' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Looking ahead, Bullis will be playing at home against Elizabeth Seton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they will venture away from home to challenge Georgetown Visitation Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
