Alamo Heights skates past Lanier with ease

Make it 11 blowout wins for the Alamo Heights Mules this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Lanier 63-19 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Alamo Heights who now have 20 in a row.

Hayes Waddy was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Perry Ambrose was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Alamo Heights' victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Lanier, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alamo Heights will take on Burbank at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Burbank has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9. As for Lanier, they will be playing at home against Highlands at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
