After flying high against Cherryville last Thursday, Chase came back down to earth. The Chase Trojans came up short against the Burns Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 5-1. The Trojans have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Chase now has a losing record at 2-3-1. As for Burns, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1.
Chase will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against North Buncombe at 6:45 p.m. As for Burns, they will square off against Crest at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Burns is facing Crest at the right time seeing as Crest is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
