            Softball Recap: Covington Trojans vs. Attica Red Ramblers        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Attica  on Tuesday, Covington came back down to earth. The Trojans took  an  8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Ramblers on Thursday. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Ramblers earlier this season, when they won  25-9.
 Covington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ava Stein, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run. Another  was  Caydence Peaslee, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
Covington's loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Attica,  the  win  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covington will welcome Parke Heritage  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Wolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.86  runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Attica, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against South Newton  at 4:30  p.m.
