Volleyball Recap: Ridgeview Triumphs + How To Watch

Ridgeview won the last time they faced Atlantic Coast and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Stingrays by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Ridgeview had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-18, 25-10, 25-15.

Despite the defeat, Atlantic Coast had strong showings from Lily Maguire, who had 12 assists and seven digs, and Kaia Carpenedo, who had nine digs, seven kills, and three aces. Carpenedo is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least seven every time she's taken the court this season. Ashley Myers was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Ridgeview now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Atlantic Coast, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Ridgeview is taking a road trip to square off against Ponte Vedra at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Atlantic Coast, they will host Fletcher at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
