Volleyball Recap: Ridgeview Gets the Win + How To Watch

Ridgeview won the last time they faced Atlantic Coast and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Stingrays. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Ridgeview had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-18, 25-10, 25-15.

Colette Jones paced Ridgeview's offense, picking up nine kills. Jones got some help from Payton Cannon and her 21 assists. Cannon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Lily Maguire and Kaia Carpenedo certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Maguire had 12 assists and seven digs, while Carpenedo had nine digs, seven kills, and three aces. Carpenedo is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least seven every time she's taken the court this season. Ashley Myers was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Ridgeview now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Atlantic Coast, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Ridgeview is taking a road trip to take on Ponte Vedra at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Atlantic Coast, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fletcher at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
