Soccer Recap: Nimitz Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Nimitz was not quite Lake Highlands's equal in the second half on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Lake Highlands Wildcats. The Vikings have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Nimitz's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Lake Highlands, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Nimitz will look to defend their home pitch on March 7th against Dallas Jesuit at 7:30 p.m. As for Lake Highlands, they will venture away from home to square off against Richardson at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Highlands is facing Richardson at the right time seeing as Richardson is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
