Fredonia had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 52-51 victory over the Lake Shore Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hillbillies also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fredonia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colin Luce, who went 6 of 10 en route to 14 points along with six boards and three steals. Luce has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Rj Koopman, who posted ten points and five assists.

Fredonia's record is now 8-6. As for Lake Shore, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Fredonia has already played their next game (against Allegany-Limestone), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lake Shore will face off against West Seneca East at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Seneca East is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.6 points per game this season.
