Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Iredell's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 59-37 to Huckabay. The Dragons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-18.

Iredell's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Lingleville, they have been performing well recently as they've won 17 of their last 21 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.
