Monroe County is 9-1 against Caverna since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Falcons will challenge the Colonels at 5:30 p.m. Monroe County has given up an average of 11.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monroe County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Cumberland County on Monday. They lost 16-1 to the Panthers. The Falcons have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Monroe County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Audrina Norman, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Caverna's offense. They fell 5-0 to Adair County on Thursday. The Colonels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caverna's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Monroe County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17-1.

Monroe County took their victory against Caverna in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 24-9 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
