It was a good run, but White Station unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Grove Saints. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cedar Grove to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emanuel Green, who posted 16 points. The game was Green's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Yusef Bowyer was another key player, putting up 14 points.

White Station's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Cedar Grove, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

White Station and Cedar Grove should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. White Station (ranked 44th) will meet Trezevant (ranked 287th) at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Meanwhile, Cedar Grove will face off against Stone Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025 up 395 places (25 vs. 420).
