Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

The Lincoln Leadership Academy Lions came up short against the Salem Christian Eagles on Friday and fell 3-1. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 22-25, 25-20, 25-10.

Lincoln Leadership Academy's offense was headlined by Jade Rosario and Abigail Morales, who picked up four kills apiece. Rosario also shared the team's lead in assists with Karina Morales: they picked up six each. Rosario was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Lincoln Leadership Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Salem Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Lincoln Leadership Academy will square off against Executive Education Academy Charter School at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Salem Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Valley Forge Baptist Academy at 4:45 p.m. on October 7.
