Los Altos has gone 6-0-1 against Wilcox recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Los Altos Eagles will be playing at home against the Wilcox Chargers at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Los Altos has four straight wins, Wilcox has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Last Friday, Los Altos was able to grind out a solid victory over Santa Clara, taking the game 4-2. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Bruins are ranked 221st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Los Altos hit Santa Clara with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jonah Altschuler, Dylan Po, James Taylor, and Kapil Jakatdar.

Meanwhile, Wilcox fell victim to Homestead and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0.

Los Altos' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three games. As for Wilcox, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9-3.

Los Altos came out on top in a nail-biter against Wilcox in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 1-0. Will Los Altos repeat their success, or does Wilcox have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
