Game recap: Mountain View High School Football Team defeats Parkrose

PORTLAND, Ore. -
Mountain View (Bend, Ore.) grabbed a lead in the first quarter and rode that momentum to a 56-20 win over Parkrose (Portland, Ore.).
The Cougars put up seven points in the opening frame. Mountain View scored on a rushing touchdown.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, MV led 28-0 at the half.
The Bend school expanded its lead to 43 points entering the fourth quarter. The Cougars scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Kyler Ayers.
Ayers stood out for Mountain View in the win. The senior running back ran for three touchdowns. He has now scored 21 touchdowns on the season.
The loss comes after Parkrose defeated Liberty 29-14 last week. The loss snapped the Broncos' 2-game winning streak.
