Softball Recap: Roland Park Country Reds vs. St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings
Roland Park Country couldn't beat St. John's Catholic Prep on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Reds fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 7-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Reds of the 9-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2019.
Acey Hubbard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and one unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up seven Ks.
