Basketball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton was the 80-76 winner over Zimmerman when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Princeton Tigers were dealt a 59-31 defeat at the hands of the Zimmerman Thunder on Tuesday. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Princeton and nudges their season record down to 9-9. As for Zimmerman, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Princeton will face off against St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Zimmerman has already played their next match (against Monticello), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
