Volleyball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial lost against Riverwood back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Raiders.

Centennial was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23.

Centennial has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Riverwood, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Centennial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Morrow on the 16th. As for Riverwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Chapel Hill on the 14th.
