Baseball Recap: Reed Raiders vs. Reno Huskies

After flying high against Nevada Union on Friday, Reed came back down to earth. The Raiders fell just short of the Reno Huskies by a score of 6-4 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Raiders have suffered since March 15th.

Reed got a good showing from Jacoby Harms, who pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, Harms gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in March.

At the plate, Reed saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Challacomb, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Reed now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Reno, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-10 record this season.
