Cardinal Gibbons and East Chapel Hill squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Cardinal Gibbons had to settle for second. They fell 7-2 to the Wildcats. The Crusaders' defeat signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Cardinal Gibbons saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Riely, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Riely has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
